Grand Falls-Windsor, NL – The Hitmen from St. John’s went undefeated throughout the 2017 Pee Wee AAA Provincial Championships held this past weekend in Harbour Grace.  The three-time defending champs finished the round robin with 3 wins and 1 tie.  In the championship game against the Tri Com Thunder they managed a 4-2 victory to claim the title on Sunday afternoon.. Logan Cuza, Stephen Ryder, Michael Fallows and Liam Bridger were the goal scores for the Hitmen.  Responding for the Thunder was Liam Marshall and John Randell. Dekon Randell-Snow earned the victory in the net, while J.T. Tobin was the goaltender for the Thunder.   

Five teams competed in the provincial championship.  Teams that participated with the Hitmen and Thunder were the Host- Tri Pen Ice, Central Ice Pak and Western Kings.

The Hitmen will now represent Newfoundland and Labrador while the Thunder will host the Bell Aliant Atlantic Regional Championship being held in CBS, NL from April 6-9, 2017.
